Mary Magdalene

I have come to understand spiritual pilgrimage as a journey in which we travel outside the familiar in order to ultimately come home to our Self. I have been taking spiritual pilgrimages since I was nineteen years old as a way to see myself outside of the constraints of my daily reality. There is something magical that happens when we have an intention to touch spirit in deeper and deeper ways through our travels, but this can also be the way we approach our daily life. Are we present for today’s adventure? Are we connected to and listening to our spirit’s guidance? Can we find awe in the mundane? Life opens when we do.

As I return from a sojourn to France where my intention was to embrace the Divine feminine through the pathway of Mary Magdalene, I come home with more of my own light. Not because it is something I found, but because it could never be lost. This point was brought home when I was in Carcassonne, a picturesque medieval town. I had a strange feeling I had been there before as I entered the church and began to pray in front of a statue of Saint Anne, the grandmother of Jesus and a highly celebrated figure in the south of France.

In the middle of the prayer, I had a very clear image of a sword piercing my heart. I could see my light leaving my body. In that lifetime, I had believed as I was being murdered that the teachings and a part of my light had been lost with my demise. I heard a voice say that I had mistakenly believed that the teachings of “The Way” had been lost, but that in truth one can never lose them.

What followed was an experience of this light reentering my heart now. In essence, I was reclaiming what I’d believed was lost but had never really gone anywhere. Then I was told to pray for the healing of all women who had been disempowered, who in some way believed that their light had been diminished. This I gladly did. I was also told that I would help others reclaim their light and power in greater numbers. I became infused with radiant light until I felt full and glowing like a giant sun, happy to understand that nothing true and real can ever be lost.  Perhaps this awareness is the fabled “Holy Grail” that everyone is searching for.

The next morning I received an email from a client who said she had received a great gift from me that very night. I had come to her illuminated like the radiant sun and helped her to ignite her own light. She said this light was a strong infusion that she hadn’t quite felt before. She felt she was somehow more radiant, more powerful and for this she was grateful.

Take a moment now to ask for the re-ignition of the light within you. It is already there, but your attention, focus, and asking will help it re-ignite. The light is within all of us. Your divinity can never be lost or taken from you. It is only our belief in such things that make them seem real.

If I can leave you with only one thing to take away, it would be that your light is inherent and can never be diminished. To understand and experience this truth in your heart of hearts will change your life forever.

Boundless Blessings to  Ignite the Light Within You,

I have been a symbol junkie for most of my life. I love symbols because they are the language of spirit. So when I came across this new symbol on my spiritual pilgrimage to France when I was following in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene, I was moved to tears. I saw it everywhere in Saintes Maries De La Mer, a little seaside town that is said to be the place where Mary Magdalene began her journey of teaching The Way of Love all over Southern France for the last 30 years of her life.

To me, this symbol says so much that no words are necessary. It evokes such a deep truth within me that I couldn’t help but squeal in excitement when I saw it. For me, it is about anchoring the Christ light into the heart center. Our high spiritual heart is the bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds, and when we anchor our Christed self into form, we become the Divine embodiment we came here to be. This path has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with embracing our divinity. When we work on anchoring in the light within, that light is who we become.

Take a moment to meditate on this symbol and see what it evokes in you. Call upon your light and ask it to be fully present in your form. The more you consciously do this, the more you will see how easy it can be to transform yourself and light up your world.

Blessing To Be The Light,

I often have conversations with Jesus, not just where I talk to him, but where he talks back. It was a little odd when it first started, since I was raised culturally Jewish and Jesus was not part of my reality growing up. So when he started appearing to me I was taken aback at first, but then I felt his profound presence of Love and recognized that no religion could limit such a Master – that in fact, he belongs to all of us.

Embracing Jesus as a prophet of Love was easy when I experienced his presence and realized that there was nothing any belief system could tell me that his fierce radiant love could not. On one such occasion I was in the Little Chapel in Arizona praying for the miracle healings that would happen during the service the following day. Jesus came to me and like a little child I followed him in great excitement, knowing full well that time with him was time well spent. We ended up on a swing set where he pushed me as if I were a small child. The freedom I felt swinging like this in the essence of pure love was indescribable.

As I swung back and forth, Jesus told me that I had made my spiritual growth much more difficult than it needed to be because I had believed it was supposed to be hard. Then he told me that my path was one of the Divine Feminine, where I would find “delight” in spiritual growth. He made it clear to me that I was here to help others find this delight as well, and assured me that my own growth and that of others would happen at a much faster pace if this energy of lightness, joy, acceptance and compassion were present. These words rang true for me, as I had been schooled in much more masculine approaches to spirituality that left me missing these very important qualities. Since that first meeting with Jesus, I have incorporated delight into everything I do, and it has changed the growth process for me in an incredible way.

I am sharing this teaching I received from Jesus with you in the hopes that you, too, can incorporate more delight into your spiritual life. It has proved to be a most powerful shift for me, so I know it can be for you as well. You could start by simply seeing yourself as you did when you were a young child. Remember how play became a way you learned and grew? Incorporating this playful, joyous, light and curious energy into our spiritual growth opens the heart, and the heart is the bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds.  As we open it, Divine embodiment becomes more possible for us. Take the time to delight in your spiritual growth and you will expand, perhaps beyond what you can even imagine.
Blessings for Delight in Your Spiritual Growth,

Anchoring In Your Divine Self: One-Minute Meditation
Join me in this one-minute video meditation where you will learn to anchor in your Divine Self. Whether you are going through changes internally or externally, being centered in your true self is the way to navigate life with the most grace and alignment. As you use this simple, yet powerful, centering tool, notice the support, strength and peace you feel. This is who you really are!

It was the middle of the night when the brilliant golden being appeared, sitting on my bed as if she belonged there. She was so radiant she took my breath away. I had waited for this my whole life, but now that it was happening I was terrified. How could it be that an ascended master was in my bedroom? I heard her sweet voice telepathically tell me that she was Brigid, the Irish triple Goddess who is also known as Saint Brigid. She said she had come to help me remember.

This seemingly random encounter changed my life. Since that night over 17 years ago, this beautiful being of light has been with me on my path of awakening, offering guidance and sharing her wisdom, prose and healing light with me and all those I serve.

I’ve just returned from another spiritual pilgrimage to Ireland where this Celtic Goddess comes from, and I want to share with you some of the healing energy that I received from this sacred land.

I arrived in Ireland on the most beautiful spring day I have ever seen. I was greeted at Saint Brigid’s Hermitage by the two sisters who are keepers of Brigid’s sacred flame, which has been kept burning there for centuries. They lovingly welcomed me as one of their own, and together we shared our love for Brigid over tea and candles as I rested in the warm embrace of this place that is so nurturing to my heart and soul.

As I made my way early the next morning to Brigid’s healing well, the sun was bright but my heart was heavy as tears rolled down my face. It had been 10 years literally to the day since I had last been on this sacred land, and I felt a profound sense of coming home. I found myself feeling wistful and a little foolish that I had not returned sooner to this incredibly healing place that my soul so clearly longed for.

When I arrived at the well there was no one else there, and it was glorious to experience the sacredness of that well, alone with Brigid. I felt held by her and began to pray and open myself to all that was available for me there. As I did so I felt a deep heart healing happen, and I received an understanding of why my path had led me back here and how I can use my own heartbreak to let more of God’s light in. With this understanding I saw that this would allow my service to expand exponentially. I saw that this is the pathway of the sacred heart. This is the gift I was given.

Leaving this place was much easier this time because I now carry it deep in my heart, knowing that those I serve may receive this energy too. With that in mind, I made this video of Brigid’s well for you so that you too can allow yourself to receive what you may need at this time in your spiritual journey. Remember that you have so many guides who can help you walk your unique path with God. Know that everything that happens  to you really happens  for you, even the things that make your heart ache. If you let it, your heartbreak will help you embody more of the Divine Love that you are. As a Brigidine sister said to me, “You, too, are the keeper of the flame. I pass this on to you.” Ignite the light of love in your own heart now, and pass it on to those you serve.

Boundless Blessings to  Ignite the Light Within You,

I’m on cloud nine as I’m returning from our annual retreat in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. Maybe it’s because I’m writing this in the air, but I think the real reason is that for me, there is nothing better than watching others step into their divinity. Everyone who joined the trip this year took huge steps in igniting their light, and we will all be transformed forever as a result.

This year we were blessed with wonderful guidance that perfectly aligned events to give people what they needed. Whether we were receiving a transmission at The Little Chapel or walking around the 36-foot-high Amitabha (Buddha of Light) Stupa, we couldn’t help but be ignited in our own light.

We also had a special guest, my spiritual mentor and friend Gina Lake. She is the author of 21 books, channels Jesus and has been awakened for over 16 years. Her state of consciousness provided a transmission for the group and gave rise to many illuminations. At times we were completely out of our minds, which of course is where we want to be because this is where our divinity is. We also communed with the relics of Anna (the grandmother of Jesus) and Mary Magdalene, both of whom bestowed many initiations. These spiritual experiences helped us remember who we really are as Divine beings having a human experience, and gave rise to so much compassion and grace for our journeys.

Naturally, these experiences left many participants wondering how to make their transformations sustainable.  Below are four simple steps that have worked well for me and those I facilitate on the journey of spiritual growth:

1. Start by claiming your healing. This is what allowed one woman’s visibly debilitating arthritis to dissolve right before her eyes in the Little Chapel. Miracle healer Sara O’Meara wasn’t even there, but Holy Spirit worked through us anyway to facilitate many miracle healings like this.

2. The second step is to acknowledge the shifts in consciousness that you are receiving. As one woman listened to Gina’s talk, she realized that she wasn’t her thoughts and began to question their validity. Becoming “the noticer” gave her the power to choose whether to believe her thoughts or not. This resulted in a much quieter mind and a level of peace that she had not experienced before.

3. The third step is to use the tools you are given to deepen the integration process. For example, you can visualize a blanket of compassion wrapped around you as you re-enter the world following a spiritual retreat. This allows you to have more compassion for yourself and since ego fears all change, even positive change, it also helps others not react to the changes in you.

4. Last but not least, write down all the shifts in consciousness you have experienced in your Evidence Journal. Your mind needs evidence that you are no longer who you believed yourself to be in the past. When you write this down and read it on occasion, you allow your experiences to land in your mind and body. When we bring our shifts in consciousness through all parts of ourselves, we are changed in a sustainable way.

These steps hold true for all spiritual growth. To make your transformation last, claim it, acknowledge it, practice it and write it down. This allows your spiritual experiences to be integrated into your daily consciousness, which changes your day-to-day reality. After all, the point of spiritual experiences is to awaken us to our True Selves as Spirit.

When we make this shift in identification, the way we see ourselves and the world changes. We begin to see everything through the eyes of Love, because now we know that Love is who we are. When you make this shift in a sustainable way, the world will notice. The owners of the Sunset Chateau in Sedona couldn’t stop talking about how kind, radiant and loving our group was. Of course, this is who we all become when we ignite the Divine light within.  And it is in all of us.   So as you walk your path, remember to claim, acknowledge, practice, and write down your transformations.  When you do, you will change the world just by being the Love that you are.

If you really want to learn to master the tools, then learn how to teach them. There is nothing more that propelled my own growth than teaching, practicing and sharing what I learned with others. Whether you want to share these tools professionally or you just want to be more of a master at them in your own life, this may be the training for you.

You know by now that every time you put both feet in and jump into the Spirit Coach® Morphic field that your growth not only expands exponentially but your experience of life as an awakened Divine being takes precedence over all the other things we make so important. Without awakening, we remain disconnected from our true Self as spirit and the contribution we came to give in this incarnation. There are levels to awakening and we can always reach new heights, and thus new levels of fulfillment, connection and love.

If you want to lead a Spirit-Led Life, a life full of presence and happiness, a life where you see the divine in everything (including yourself) if you want to deepen your connection to Spirit and your guides, if you want the support of a group, if you want to learn how to facilitate using practical tools with heart, grace and effectiveness, this training is for you!

I can’t tell you how many times the fear of looking like a fool in front of others stopped me in my tracks in the past. A good example from many years ago is the time I won the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  As an award recipient, I was asked to give an acceptance speech at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. So there I was at this luxurious hotel about to give my speech to 500 people, and instead of being excited I was terrified!

The voice of my ego rang in my head, saying “Who are you to receive this award? How can you possibly have anything valuable to say?” You get the picture.  The main message was, “If you get up on that stage you are going to make a fool of yourself in front of everyone who’s anyone in this city!”

What was I to do?  At that time I didn’t yet have the tools I teach today to silence the voice of ego and let Spirit shine, so I did the only logical thing: I went into the walk-in closet in my hotel room and prayed for an earthquake. Yes, you read that right: in that moment, I would have rather had death and destruction than stand up in front of those people and make a fool of myself.

This seems so ridiculous now looking back, but it is a great example of how insidious the ego can be. It stops us from giving our gifts, from stepping out and trying, from speaking our truth and ultimately, from actualizing our Divine potential. My ego didn’t stop me that day, but it came close. Luckily, there was no earthquake and I mustered the courage to step up despite the voice in my head.

As I have come to awaken more and more out of ego consciousness, I’ve realized that the voice I heard that day was my false self, and that striving to look like a fool is  exactly where I want to be . Why?  Because when I reside in Essence, I am free to allow my humanity to be seen by all, and this vulnerability is a great gift to myself and others. In this sweet surrender our light can emerge more fully, and we no longer believe the ego’s directives about how we “should” be because we are too busy just being with what is. When you realize that nothing is a problem, it follows that there must be nothing wrong with you either.  There is so much freedom that comes when we recognize that we are not the thoughts in our head that tell us we are less than or better than another. From this place, we reach a deep knowing that it is both our humanity and our divinity that connects us all.

Once we let go of believing the voice in our head that tells us how to live our lives, we can really start living. Don’t let your false self stop you anymore! One practice I give to my clients is what I call the “Not Looking Good” List. This exercise is to create a list of all the things you’ve wanted to do but haven’t for fear of looking foolish. Maybe it is enrolling in a speaker’s group or taking Tango lessons or something else; we all have our own deferred dreams. Whatever it is for you, write it down and take that leap of faith to pursue something you believe you will be really bad at because you know it will make your heart sing. Over and over again in my work, I’ve seen that when we push through our fears to live our passion, the results are better than our wildest dreams.

Every time we follow our heart and exit the mind, we open to a joy and passion that ignites our Divine purpose. In my experience, we can’t truly live “on purpose” without looking like a fool at times. The difference is that when we are spirit led we no longer see ourselves as foolish, so no one else can make us feel that way, either. Then we are free to give the gifts that only we can give to the world, and to love deeply without fear. Now that is a recipe for a life well lived.

Blessing To Be The Light,

Reverence is the word that comes to mind when I think of entering the room with 70 Relics of The Holy Women Saints in Arizona. As we walked into The Shrine of Holy Wisdom where I held the Relic Retreat, tears flowed immediately as there was a deep recognition of the power, presence and grace that permeated the room. It was undeniable; regardless of our individual spiritual beliefs, there was a palpable energy that took each person’s breath away. A deep recognition emerged that we were with a group of women who had followed the path to Divine embodiment, and we had a sense that this is possible for all of us.

With such tender compassion in the room, it was easy to open to the possibilities that existed for our own awakening. The tenderness in our hearts allowed for an opening, a crack in the hard shell we all build around our hearts, so that more light could enter. When we allowed this crack to open, so much of the pain of the past poured out, and this is what made room for a tremendous amount of light to take up residence. For one participant, a long-standing issue of pain in her back mysteriously vanished after doing the exercise of releasing her heartache. This was one of the miracles we received, but perhaps the greatest miracle of all was this: in the presence of these holy women, who were able to be the light of God in service under much more difficult conditions than those we face, we knew that we too could overcome our own difficulties and live from a place of love and service.

Although these women are saints, like all of us they also began humbly on their paths, committed to their union with the Divine and most importantly, devoted to the path of Love. As Teresa of Avila said so eloquently, ” If you want to make progress on the path and ascend to the places you have longed for, the important thing is not to think much but to love much, and so to do whatever best awakens you to love.”

This is what is needed now as we embark upon a time of great change. For Love calls us to serve the greater good not for our own gain and not from a place of fear, but rather by rising up in our devotion to Love. This becomes an act of service, and even the small acts matter, especially now. Therese of Lisieux says it this way: “May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.”

We can learn so much from these women mystics who, despite the power structures that tried to contain them and keep them quiet, rose up and shared their wisdom and great Love with the world.
There is nothing that can repress our light but our own selves. When like the saints we understand that we are holy, we will no longer hide our light, and we will give the gifts we have been given to serve the world.

St. Joan Elizabeth Bichier des Ages, who lived during the time of the French Revolution and was unknown to me before this retreat, began to speak to me telepathically. I heard very clearly, and in rhyme no less, these words of wisdom:

“Change comes
And this will always be
Yet there is an eternal Presence
That showers upon thee
Grab thy spark and set it free
For this is what exists in you and me.”

Now is the time to acknowledge the Divine within and “set thy spark free.”

May Your Spark Be Ignited,

Here are 7 practices to awaken your natural state of gratitude this Thanksgiving:

1. Before your meal, go around the table and ask everyone to share one thing they are grateful for this year. This will uplift everyone and the food will taste better too.

2. Take everyone on a Gratitude Walk. Suggest that they contemplate as they are walking all the things they are grateful for in their life. Then, when you return home, you can share your gratitudes and experience.

3. Take a bunch of Thank You note cards and ask each person to write a heartfelt “Thank You” to one person that has made a difference in their life. Provide stamps so they can mail it out. Who knows, you may be the one receiving it!

4. Write a letter of gratitude to yourself. After all, you deserve acknowledgement also and the more you appreciate yourself, the more you will allow yourself to receive from the universe.

5. Give everyone at your table a Gratitude Journal. Have everyone write their name at the top of the first blank page. Pass it around and have each person at the table write what they love appreciate about the person whose Journal they have. When the Gratitude Journal makes its way back to the owner, it will be full of love and gratitude for the person it belongs to. This is a great way to start a Gratitude Journal.

6. Play Musical Gratitude. This works well with large groups. Have everyone walk (or dance) around to the music. Every time the music stops, whomever you happen to be next to, you share what you are grateful for about them. When the music continues everyone moves about the room until the music stops again. You are now with a new partner whom you share your gratitudes with.

7. Read a quote about Gratitude before or after your meal or type them up and give them out to your guests. Here are some of my favorites:

“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”

-Marcel Proust

“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”

-Thích Nhat Hanh

“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”

-A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

“In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives. In the end, maybe it’s wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices.”

-Elizabeth Gilbert

“Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer. And let faith be the bridge you build to overcome evil and welcome good.”

-Maya Angelou

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”

-Eckhart Tolle

“To speak Gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact Gratitude is generous and noble, but to live Gratitude is to touch Heaven.”

-Johannes Gaertner

“Being Thankful is the law of increase. Complaining is the law of decrease.”

-J. Martin Kohe

“He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.”

“If the only prayer you said was thank you, that would be enough.”

-Meister Eckhart

I am so grateful for you. I see the Divine in you. You are a gift to this world. Happy Thanksgiving!

What inspired you to be a Spirit Coach: Being confronted with my own health challenges at a young age, led me to dig deeper into understanding what causes dis-ease and discover how one can heal themselves. From my own spiritual journey, I realized that dis-ease of all kinds manifest on the energetic and spiritual level, before it shows up in the mind and body. I’ve spent 16 years exploring many different kinds of healing modalities ranging from psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, energy healing and various alternative healing methods. When I discovered the Spirit Coach® Method, and began integrating the energetic practices and tools into my life, the blocks and stored energetic patterns were releasing, allowing my mind and body to heal. This led to an experience of inner and outer freedom in my life. As well as a deeper connection with my spirit and the divine, which led to my inspiration to share the Spirit Coaching Method with others.

Share one of your favorite Spirit Coaching moments: My favorite Spirit Coaching moment was being guided to practice the 3 C’s, Centering, Clearing and Connecting. I was surprised by how powerfully it changed my perception and experience of myself and my life. I felt present, peaceful and a deeper connection to myself and spirit. This empowered me to choose to co-create my reality and live a life with more joy and peace.

Share one of your many client success stories: Recently I worked with a client and I introduced her to Spirit Bubble. I led her through a meditation where she accessed the color of her Spirit Bubble that would support her being in a positive vibration. Then I asked her to surround herself with this color. She was so excited to discover that her mental chatter became still, the pain in her knee dissipated while also experiencing a deep inner calm. This was a completely new experience that inspired her to commit to a daily spiritual practice.

What type of clients do you like to work with: Clients that have a desire and commitment, to let go and release old patterns that have left them feeling stuck. Being in a place where they are feeling ready to break free from their past limitations, into more freedom to be who they are in the world. Allowing them to create a life that is more fulfilling and full of joy.

Share a Spirit Coaching quick tip you’d like to leave readers with: When using intention setting at the beginning of your day, see a color that represents that intention. Then hold your intention color in front of you or around you, and watch how your day unfolds easily and with less effort.

Jenai & PaulI just returned from an amazing trip to see Sara O’Meara, and this trip was extra special because Padre Paul came with me. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to have two such amazing healers under one roof. As you can imagine, we blew that roof right off!

As you probably have gathered from my newsletters, I have always been called to spend time with miracle healers. I think this is because it reminds me of who we really are—Divine beings capable of anything. It is so inspiring to witness miracles like that of Shana, a woman who was left with a brain injury after a near fatal car accident and couldn’t smell or taste as a result. Shana went home after Sara O’Meara’s healing service and cooked a hotdog for her daughter, and you guessed it, she smelled it cooking and realized it was the first time she’d smelled anything since the accident. She said when she tasted that hotdog, it was the best thing she had ever tasted in her life! These instantaneous shifts in consciousness, whether they result in physical, mental, emotional or spiritual healings, are what I call miracles.

On this trip, I received a healing of my back and hip. Even though I have received many miracle healings from John of God, Padre Paul, Sara O’Meara and other lesser-known healers, it is always mind-blowing and expanding to be a recipient of such grace. When I stood up to claim my healing at Sara’s Little Chapel last weekend, I felt my right hip become liquid light. I could feel it structurally shifting as Sara directed healing energy towards me from across the room, using only her intention. She looked at me and said what she always says to me when I stand up to claim a healing, “Honey, Holy Spirit is ALL over you!” And it was. The heat emanating from my body was so intense I felt like I would spontaneously combust.

One of the results I have had from being a recipient of so much healing light is that I, too, have become a conduit for the light. This was recently acknowledged by a client of mine who received a healing from me without my conscious knowledge while I was in prayer Saturday night at The Little Chapel.

This client, Christine, is a healer herself. On that night she was preparing for a friend to come over and receive a healing from her, but when her friend didn’t show up, she lay down on her massage table to receive the light instead. She relayed to me that as she did this, I came to her in spirit and gave her a healing that concentrated Holy Spirit throughout her body. It was a very palpable experience for her. Of course, I was in meditation at The Little Chapel praying for the miracle healings to occur the following day, unaware that they were also happening in the now for Christine. For me, this was a miracle, to have an intention to serve others and have it happen without my conscious awareness.

I have also noticed recently that there is an energy I work with now that is so strong and so palpable it makes my hands shake when it comes through me. This is especially noticeable when I am in the presence of Padre Paul. I believe we are all conduits of this Love, and there is nothing special about me. This energy is who we are, and we just need to be reminded of it. This is why I take people on spiritual journeys to witness and receive miracles. Of course, miracles can happen anywhere and with anyone, because the Divine is everywhere.

Take a moment to open to the possibility of a miracle in your own life. When you do, you can expect a miracle. This is how it has been for me, so I know it can happen for you, too.
